A: Admit Your Sin

According to the Gospel, the first step towards salvation begins with humility. We must admit to God that we are sinners. Romans 3:23 tells us, "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." Each of us has fallen short of God's perfect standard. We've made mistakes, we've chosen our own way, and we've separated ourselves from Him. But God, in His infinite love and mercy, provided a way back to Him.

Admitting our sinfulness isn't just acknowledging our mistakes; it's also about repentance. This means turning away from our sin and desiring to live a life that honors God. As Acts 3:19 says, "Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out." This turning point, this decision to leave our old ways behind, is crucial in our journey towards Christ.
